IP telephony (Internet Protocol telephony) is a general term for technologies, products and services that use the Internet Protocol's packet-switched connections to support voice calling, voicemail, video calling, video conferencing, faxing and instant messaging (IM). At the First things first box, if you accept the licensing agreement, click Accept. Note that only Skype for Business was installed in this case.
When the Office installer is finished, it displays a message that Office was installed on your computer. The Office installer starts and displays a message that it's installing Office. However, it's only installing Skype for Business, not the entire Office suites. After the setupskypeforbusinessentryretail.exe file has downloaded, click Run. If Skype for Business stops during setup, this is where you go to re-run it. Note: Note where you saved the setupskypeforbusinessentryretail.exe file on your computer. Click Save to download the setupskypeforbusinessentryretail.exe file to your computer. Ask your admin (the person who gave you sign-in information) for help. If you don't see Skype for Business listed at all it means it's not included in your Office 365 business plan or your admin has not assigned a license to you. When you're done, go to Sign in for the first time at the end of these steps. Click Install to install the Office 365 suite of applications, including Skype for Business. If Skype for Business is bundled with other Office 365 applications, you'll see a page to install it. 
If you see a window, select Skype for Business, choose your language, the edition that matches your other Office applications (32 bit or 64 bit - if you don't know, choose the default) then click the Install button proceed to step 5.
At the top of your Office 365 page, click the Settings icon and select Office 365. To download Skype for Business on your Windows, follow these steps: You can download Skype for Business from your Office 365 portal and then install it on your computer. Skype for business's interface is very similar to Skype but with additional features such as additional security for calls and broadcasting a meeting to a large group online.
